Davy used her seven wood to record the ace on July 21.

Rosetown Legion baseball heads into playoffs this week



The Rosetown American Legion baseball team closed out the regular season on a high note last Friday with a shutout victory over White Bear Lake. The victory sends Rosetown into this week’s Fourth District playoffs with a bit of momentum despite a less than stellar record.

Theft

— A purse was reportedly stolen from Dino’s Gyros, 1670 Snelling Ave. The owner reported the theft at 12:36 p.m. July 12 as she realized that her cell phone, which was inside the purse, had been used. The estimated loss of the purse, cash, phone and identification is $250.

Three seats,three candidates



The Roseville Area Schools board has three seats up for election in November, and three candidats have filed.

Incumbent Bill Majerus filed for re-election while Roseville residents Kitty Gogins and Frank H. Shaw filed for election.
