Roseville bilingual child center rallies on 'Day Without Immigrants'


Staff and families from the Bilingual Child Care & Education Center located at County Road B and Lexington Avenue in Roseville rallied at Lexington Park Feb. 16 in support of "Day Without Immigrants."

As restaurants and businesses across the Twin Cities and nation closed Feb. 16 to mark a "Day Without Immigrants," a bilingual daycare center in Roseville did its part to make a statement.

A Wild visit


Minnesota Wild hockey players Eric Haula, left, and Zack Mitchell, right, answered questions from South St. Paul Secondary eighth-grade students during an assembly at the school on Feb. 15. The Wild players also stressed how to work hard and believe in yourself to achieve future goals in life.

On Wednesday, Feb. 15, students at South St. Paul Secondary School received a special treat. Members of the Minnesota Wild visited the school to celebrate the usage of “Future Goals-Hockey Scholar.”
