Volunteer job openings

Garden volunteer opportunity: Do you enjoy gardening? Consider getting involved with the intergenerational garden.  Fairview Alternative High School (FAHS) has received a grant from the Roseville Area Schools Foundation to build raised garden plots located at the Fairview Community Center. This will be a learning opportunity for FAHS students and any adult to share ideas, and have ownership in a common project. Co-sponsored by the Roseville Area Senior Program (RASP) and the Fairview Alternative High School (FAHS grades 9-12).

Medical appointment driver: Transport older adults using your own vehicle to medical and dental appointments. Volunteers are scheduled once or twice, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m. The average time is about two hours per time.  Mileage reimbursement is an option. A criminal background and driving record check will be conducted on applicants for this position. Special events: Assist with conducting designated special events including health fair, fundraisers, etc.
