HHW collection site on the move

If area residents are still spring-cleaning — or just discovering more “treasures” hidden in the garage — the Household Hazardous Waste Mobile Collection site may be headed your way.

Many products you use to clean and maintain your home contain hazardous materials. These products are considered household hazardous waste and must be disposed of properly.

Hours for the mobile collection site are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.

Starting in August, the mobile collection site will be at 848 Pleasant Ave., St.  Paul, near the Linwood Community Recreation Center.

In September, it will be at 1616 Como Ave., St. Paul.

And in October it will be at Aldrich Arena, 1850 White Bear Ave. N., Maplewood
