‘Beauty and the Beast’ musical theater camp

Learn songs and dances from “Beauty and the Beast” and put on a show. Everyone will learn how to properly speak lines, block a scene, develop a character, and much more. No experience necessary. All that is needed are comfortable clothing and lightweight tennis shoes or dance shoes. Please bring a nut-free snack and water bottle daily.
This is a multiple day event that takes place Aug. 14, 15, 16, and 17. Friends and family are invited to observe a special performance during the final 30 minutes of the final class, on Aug. 17.

Campers ages 4 to 8 meet from 9 a.m., to noon, and those 7 to 12 meet from 1 to 3 p.m.

The camp takes place at the Harmon Park Neighborhood Center, 230 Bernard St. W., West St. Paul. Cost is $25 and registration is required by Aug 7. Call 651-552-4154 or email Alisha McGraw, recreation programmer, at amcgraw@wspmn.gov for more information.
