NEWSBRIEF: Enrollment open for youth grief camp

Enrollment is now open for Camp Erin — Twin Cities, a free weekend-long bereavement camp hosted by Fairview’s Youth Grief Services and Eluna. The camp provides grieving children ages 6-17 the opportunity to enjoy camp activities while receiving grief support from counselors and peers.

Led by professionals and trained volunteers, Camp Erin offers youth the opportunity to learn coping skills and connect with others who have also experienced a loss. It provides a safe place to share stories and feelings while enjoying campfires, team building games, crafts, and an all-camp luminary ceremony in a traditional camp setting.

Camp Erin – Twin Cities offered in 2019, include:

• June 28-30, 2019 at One Heartland Center located in Willow River, Minn.

• Sept. 20-22, 2019 at Camp Ihduhapi in Loretto, Minn.

For more information or to register for Camp Erin, visit our website at fairview.org/youthgrief, or contact Youth Grief Services at 952-892-2111.
