Elvis coming to St. Peter's fall festival

Nationally acclaimed Elvis tribute artist Art Kistler will perform at the Church of St. Peter's Fall Festival at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30 in O'Reilley Hall located at 2590 N. Margaret St. in North St. Paul.

Kistler, a St. Paul native, has performed all over the country and is the winner of several talent competitions as "Elvis." His performance is free and open to the public.

Other highlights of this year's festival include Father Griffith's fall festival kick-Off Barbecue dinner at 5 p.m. followed by a dance with live music from the local band "Sugartree" from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 29.

Saturday, Sept. 30 begins with a Mass with music by the band EDGE (Every Day God Experience) at 4:30 p.m. followed by a pig roast and the Elvis tribute.

Sunday, Oct. 1 begins with a Mass featuring the Festival Choir at 10:30 a.m. followed by a delicious beef dinner with all of the fixings served in the school cafeteria from 11:00 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday's events include contests, games, the Vikings game on the big screen and a Home Depot Kids Workshop from 2 to 4 p.m.
