K.C. Gahlon of Arden Hills earned an All-Conference Honorable Mention award for both singles and doubles this season playing for the Principia College women’s tennis team. Gahlon is a freshman education and political science major at the Elsah, Ill. school.

Sophomore Kristie Carlson of Arden Hills received the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire women’s tennis team’s Hustle Award at the team’s annual banquet in recognition of her 24 victories this season.

Joe Oliverius of Arden Hills received the University of Wisconsin-Superior Men’s Soccer team’s Most Improved Player Award at a school Athletic Department ceremony recently.

Renato Otten of New Brighton was named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference all-academic teams in both cross country and indoor track and field. Otten is a junior at the St. Paul school.

Jolene Ross of Arden Hills played softball for the Augsburg College team this past season.

Amanda Benz of Mounds View competed in the shot put, discus and hammer throw for Division I North Dakota State University’s track and field team this past season.
