Billie Eilish Adel Vanity Fair for its sixth year Annual interview with the post. This year, she said she’s “in a good position in my life now,” citing her improved relationship with her body as one of the catalysts for the change.

The 20-year-old has spoken about her body a lot during her years in the spotlight, taking up her signature oversized clothing style in the past and experimenting with more feminine silhouettes. She said the evolution of her style had a lot to do with body image, with which she has a complicated relationship. Recently, I’ve focused on changing that.

“I’ve had a pretty huge transformation this year with my fitness lifestyle and it’s been a really crazy process,” she said in the video. “I feel better about myself than I ever have, which makes me feel proud. I’ve worked so hard on it. And I just want to get a performance boost, I just want to be emotional. Yeah, so hopefully by next year, I’ll be ripped.”

This isn’t the first time Eilish has spoken out about her recent love of fitness. I spoke to Zane Lowe about her on Interview with Apple Music in late September saying she has turned into a “gym rat” since she finished her last run.

“It changed my life. I started working out really hard in May. But especially after coming back from Europe, I started like working out in the gym for the first time, every single day,” Lowe said. “It wasn’t something I did that became an incredibly big part of my life and makes me feel so much better as a person.”

Eilish’s increasingly positive outlook is very different from how she’s talked about her body in the past. “My relationship with my body has been a really terrible thing since I was 11 years old” said the Sunday times in June.

The singer and her body garnered an enormous amount of attention in June 2021 when she was featured on the cover of the UK Vogue magazine wearing a corset. She said, “I lost 100,000 followers, just because of my boobs.” deer About the mixed response to the images. “People are afraid of big breasts.”

In the end, revealing more of herself allowed her to embrace her in turn.

“I hated the way I looked before,” she said in an interview with observer in December 2021. “I don’t like it now, but I feel more confident in myself and I’m more proud of who I am.”
