Chris Rock mentions that Jada Pinkett Smith “started” their feud during his Netflix special

Chris Rock made a bold Oscar claim for Jada Pinkett Smith during a new comedy special.

On Saturday (March 4), the comedian historically hosted a live set on Netflix titled selective angerduring which he roasted Will Smith for slapping him at the Oscars in March 2022.

Elsewhere during the Rock special, the comedian slammed Meghan Markle’s allegations that she suffered from “racism” during her time at Buckingham Palace.

He also directly addressed Smith’s slap, saying he “took this punch” like former professional boxer Manny Pacquiao.

However, fans noticed that Rock made a huge mistake about Smith when he was grilling the actor.

In 2022, Smith walked the Oscars stage to hit rockstar after the comic star made a joke about Pinkett Smith.

Later in the ceremony, Smith was awarded Best Actor for his role in King Richardand gave a tearful speech.

He is subsequently banned as a member of the Academy for 10 years, and will not be allowed to attend the 2023 ceremony.
