“Some partners are avoiding supplying the necessary weapons for fear of escalation. Climbing, really? The Russian Federation is already using very powerful non-nuclear weapons against Ukraine, burning alive. Is it time for the MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) to respond to us?”
Bodolyak’s reaction is the result of informal NATO talks, which, according to German media, have reached a “secret agreement” not to supply modern Western tanks to Ukraine, and Russia should not see it as a “challenge”. A fierce battle.
At the same time, several U.S. officials told CNN that the United States was preparing to send advanced long-range missile systems to Ukraine, following an urgent request from Ukrainian authorities.
In recent weeks, senior Ukrainian officials, including President Gelensky and Foreign Minister Kuleba, have called on the United States and its allies to provide the M270 multi-launch armored missile system, also known as the MLRS.
