Fox News Host Asks Trump About His Personal Relationship With “Genocidal Maniacs”

During a fake interview with Donald Trump, Fox News host Mark Levine asked the former president about his ties to world leaders who were “genocidal mad.”

Trump’s response? “The tougher they are, the better I’ll be with them.”

Levine popped the question during an interview to promote Trump’s new book, “Letters to Trump,” a collection of 150 private letters sent to him by international leaders, celebrities and other notables.

Referring to the “wonderful messages” Trump has received from leaders such as Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, Levin said he noticed a “common thread.”

“You had a personal relationship with each and every one of these leaders, whether they were genocidal lunatics, whether they were elected or not [Shinzo Abe] Levine said. “And I want to go into some of this. What do you say your foreign policy is? Because I think people keep projecting onto your foreign policy what they think they want people to think your foreign policy is.”

Trump replied, “It was a very personal relationship and, you know, kinda weird situation. The tougher they are, the better I can handle them.”

He added, “Maybe that’s a good thing because it was those difficult countries that had the big powerful countries, the ones that they could destroy.”
