Hawkish rookie Desmond Ryder “light years” to most young QBs

Atlanta Falcons rookie quarterback Desmond Ryder surprised coach Arthur Smith with how easily he implemented an attacking scheme.

“Behind the scenes, the things he did, as a rookie, are really from the neck up,” Smith said Wednesday.
