A man who killed a father-of-two returned to the scene of the crime after drinking to brag to police that he couldn’t be caught. He was later arrested and sentenced to life imprisonment.
Marek Hecko, 26, was sentenced to life in prison for killing Adrian Ellingford in Essex, England. evening standard.
Last July, aged 44, he died of multiple stab wounds.
Footage captured on a camera carried by a policeman shows the 26-year-old approaching the scene of the crime in an inebriated state. He had a bottle of wine in his hand.
However, the man refused to identify himself.
“I know what happened,” he boasted to police.
Marek Hecko was arrested, and eventually, law enforcement identified him as the prime suspect in the case and charged him.
During the month-long investigation, the man said he arrived at the scene after seeing what happened on the news, although the tragedy had not yet been reported online or on social media.
The murdered man was said to have spent time with Marek Hecko’s ex-partner on the night of his death. The girl has been stalked by Hecko in the past.
