The magnitude of this earthquake was recorded as 5.7 degrees Republic of La.
The earthquake, centered in the province of Marche, was also felt in Rome, Florence, Bologna and other cities in northern and southern Italy.
This earthquake was followed by three aftershocks measuring 3.1, 3.4 and 4 on the Richter scale.
