Putin accuses Ukraine of “sabotaging” negotiations with Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin accused Ukraine of “sabotaging” negotiations between the two countries.

The Kremlin cited comments made in a 45-minute phone call with Austrian Chancellor Karl Nehamer on Friday.

The Russian leader pledged to fulfill commitments to deliver natural gas and said he was ready to discuss the Prisoner exchange with Ukraine.

Russia said it had reaffirmed its commitment to comply with contractual obligations on natural gas supplies to Austria; The country gets 80% of its gas from Russia.

On Thursday, the Kremlin said that Ukraine expects to accept Russia’s demands and “understanding the de facto real situation.”

Previously, Zelensky called for outside help to put pressure on Russia over the prisoner exchange.

“People exchange – this is a humanitarian issue today and a very political decision that depends on the support of many countries,” he said Monday in a Q&A video at the World Economic Forum.
