It looks like the class of 2023 has been recruiting for years. Now it’s time for them to make things official. Wednesday is the first day of the class early signing period when prospects can make things official by writing a National Letter of Intent (NLI) with their favorite schools.
Texas A&M is looking to follow up the record-breaking Class of 2022 with a very strong Class of 2023 as well. The Aggies enter today #16 in the team rankings but have a chance to rise as there are some announcements on Wednesday as prospects continue to study A&M.
The following list of players are current Texas A&M pledges. The times in their name are either when they are celebrating or when they tell us they are playing to send the NLI to A&M. Leads can start sending them at 7 a.m. EST, so Aggies can start receiving them from the Eastern time zone at 6 a.m. Central time. Players who held afternoon festivities earlier will likely send them out, but A&M will likely defer advertising until party times. One pledge that won’t sign Wednesday is a five-star defensive lineman David Hicks. He’ll do it at a party on Friday.
There are also three announcements that A&M fans will be watching closely. The first is Alabama’s current Top 100 National Pledge, which officially visited Aggieland this past weekend. He’ll decide between sticking with the Crimson Tide or signing with A&M or Auburn. The second is a homegrown linebacker who was finally pitched, with things looking really good for the Aggies there. The third is a four-star speedster who got out of Arkansas on Monday. He was also at Texas A&M last weekend for an unofficial visit. The Aggies are the boss of the Crystal Ball to him.
We’ll keep things updated on this story as well as on related thread throughout the day when signings and announcements happen. Keep this page refreshed throughout the day for the latest on the Aggies’ efforts in the early signing period as we’ll update when the NLI comes around as well as when uncommitted leads make their announcements.
