Vyacheslav Volodin, chairman of the Duma, the lower house of the Russian parliament, wrote the message on his telegram channel today, according to the Russian agency Toss.
“German-led European leaders can drag their people into great trouble. They become part of the conflict by supplying arms to Ukraine. All heads of state who decide to supply arms are dirty and must be brought to justice as war criminals,” Volodin wrote.
Ukrainians suspect 621 Russians of war crimes
In response, Ukrainian authorities have so far identified 621 Russian citizens suspected of committing war crimes during the invasion of Ukraine, according to the Ukrainian News Agency.
They are representatives of the Russian military and political leadership, including ministers, delegates, military commanders, officers and law enforcement officers. To date, there have been 9,247 criminal cases of aggression and war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine since February 24.
