continental resources (CLR) – Inventories of oil and natural gas producers rose 7.4% in the primary market after receiving $70 per share in a ‘privacy’ bid From President Harold Hamm and his family. The Company’s Board of Directors will form an independent committee to evaluate the offer.

inspiration (ORCL) — Oracle is up 12% in pre-market trading after posting better-than-expected earnings and revenue for the fourth quarter of its business. Oracle is seeing strong demand for its cloud software as more companies move to a hybrid workplace.

National Vision (EYE) – The optical products retailer’s inventory is up 14.3% in the primary market after news of its addition to the S&P SmallCap 600 Index. The change will be in effect before trading opens on Thursday.

Twitter (TWTR) — Twitter shares are up 2.7% in pre-market activity after news that Elon Musk will attend a comprehensive staff meeting on Thursday. Musk in April agreed to buy Twitter for $44 billion, but has since threatened to walk away from the deal.

best buy (BBY) — Best Buy fell 1.3% in premarket trading after Bank of America Securities downgraded the electronic retailer’s stock to “neutral” from “buy.” BofA notes growing uncertainty about Best Buy’s 2023 earnings outlook.

Nokia (NOK) – Nokia has been upgraded to “purchased” from “neutral” at Citi, which refers to the improved fundamentals of the networking hardware and software industry. Citi points to Nokia’s particular strength in the mobile infrastructure market. The stock added 2.8% in pre-market activity.

Queen Piece (COIN) — Cryptocurrency exchange operator stock fell 4.8% in the primary market after JP Morgan Securities cut the rating to “neutral” from “overweight”. JP Morgan said that the severe downturn in the cryptocurrency markets in 2022, combined with the increase in Coinbase investments, makes it difficult to anticipate profitability in the near future.

kotie (COTY) — Coty’s stock rose 1% in premarket trading after the cosmetics company reaffirmed its financial forecasts for the current quarter and full year. Coty is scheduled to present today at Deutsche Bank’s World Consumer Conference.
