The May 2024 security update will be rolled out to two more Galaxy smartphones this week. Samsung has released the update for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy S23 FE in select markets.
Galaxy S23 FE update rolls out in India while Z Fold 4 gets update in some Southeast Asian and Middle East countries – updates sports build numbers S711BXXS3CXE3 And F936BXXS7FXE6 respectively. Both devices are likely to get the update in many markets by the end of this month.

Since these phones received the One UI 6.1 update not too long ago, it should come as no surprise that Samsung has only bundled security improvements with the new update. Downloading the latest security update on your S23 FE or Z Fold 4 is as easy as opening your phone’s Settings app, going to system update Menu, selection Download and install. Firmware files for both devices are also available in our firmware library and can be used as an alternative method to install new software.
