GameStop and AMC shares jump another 50% in pre-market trading as meme stock craze returns

Shares of GameStop and AMC jumped more than 50% in premarket trading Tuesday, on track to extend their gains after “Roaring Kitty,” the man at the center of the meme stock craze, went viral for the first time in nearly three years.

Shares of video game retailer GameStop were trading up 50% at 5:55 a.m. ET, while movie theater chain AMC was up more than 53%.
