After months of rumors and speculation, Netflix has finally acknowledged that it is Made a documentary series on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Royal expert Richard Eden tells SELF daily Mail That “I heard from friends of Prince William and Catherine today, and they were frankly shocked by what appeared in this video.” Specifically, they are disturbed by “the use of William and Catherine and the image and the manner in which it is presented.”
Photo of William and Kate included in the trailer is from Commonwealth Day (March 2019). It comes after what appears to be an image of Meghan crying, and before a live clip of Prince Harry saying the words, “I had to do everything I could to protect my family.”
Meanwhile, Eden says the timing of Meghan and Harry’s trailer ‘could hardly be worse’ thanks to William and Kate are in the middle of their trip to Boston. “I think the royal family will be nervously waiting to see what’s inside next week, you know,” he said, adding, “I think there will be a lot of tension in the palaces this evening.”
Frankly, aside from being included in the trailer, Meghan and Harry haven’t exactly indicated that they plan to talk about their strained relationship with William and Kate at all. Sooooo, yeah, I’m not sure there’s much to worry about these royal insiders!
