The BMW driver parked on the beach and found himself swept away by the waves. “Can’t Stop There”

A BMW driver who left his convertible on the beach found his car swept away by the waves, writes Mirror.co.uk.

A video shows the vehicle slowly drifting out to sea after being washed away by the waves after being left on Trevaunance Beach in St. Agnes, Cornwall, England on Sunday.

Pictures show the car was transported a considerable distance to render the £100,000 model unusable once out of the water.

The Coast Guard was then called in and investigated whether there was anyone in the vehicle. While it’s unclear who owned the car or why it was left on the beach, the St Agnes Coastguard Search & Rescue team eventually pulled it out of the sea – nearly two hours after they were called.

The search team wrote on its Facebook page: “We were at the scene while rescue efforts were underway and the vehicle was removed.”

The post attracted mixed comments from people, with the majority saying the driver “should be fined”, while others laughed and wrote: “You can’t stop there mate”.
