A few days ago, Samsung released the One UI 6.1 update for the Galaxy S21 and S22, along with its older foldable devices. However, due to a major software bug, Samsung had to stop rolling out the update to the Galaxy S22 series. However, the company has now resumed the update.
The rollout of the Galaxy S22 One UI 6.1 update is resuming
Samsung has it Resumed (via @tarunvats33) The One UI 6.1 update has been rolled out to the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra in South Korea. The update comes with the firmware version S90xNKSU3EXE1 The download size is about 3.2 GB. It can now be installed by heading to Settings » system update And eavesdropping Download and install.
This is a major software update, so be sure to download it over Wi-Fi. Also make sure to back up your personal data from the phone before installing the new update. This update brings Circle to Search, real-time language translation in calls and messages, text language translation in images, web page summarization (Samsung Internet), note summarization (Samsung Notes), voice transcription (Samsung Voice Recorder), and AI-generated images Editing, creating AI-powered backgrounds, and more.

As promised, Samsung has resumed updating the Galaxy S22 in South Korea. We expect the update to be rolled out in other countries and regions. This update does not offer the May 2024 security patch. Keep checking your Galaxy S22 series phone for the update over the next few days.
