The Super Mario Bros. movie box office is expected to gross $141 million in its opening weekend

The Super Mario Bros. movie has been shut down. at the start of Super Star, and Universal estimates that the Mario movie will gross $141 million by the end of its extended Sunday opening weekend.

According to Universal, the Super Mario Bros. at $31.7 million in North America on Wednesday. Globally, the film grossed $66.4 million on its opening day. The movies usually open on Fridays, which means the Super Mario Bros. It has a strong two-day start compared to other opening weekends. From Friday to Sunday only, the film is expected to bring in $92 million.

Analysts say the Super Mario Bros. movie has surpassed Avatar: The Way of Water and Doctor Strange 2 as the biggest opening day since the pandemic began in March 2020. It’s also the second-best April opening day ever, trailing only Avengers: Endgame. Super Mario Bros. saw the movie. Best moving opening day ever in 11 markets worldwide.
