Video “Where’s Jackie?” Joe Biden is looking for a congresswoman who died in August

According to Reuters, the US president has asked for the whereabouts of Jackie Walorski, a member of the House of Representatives who died in a car accident while attending a food summit in August.

Joe Biden thanked convention organizers before asking: “Jackie, are you there? Where’s Jackie?”

“This is truly a terrible and shameful mistake,” tweeted Rep. Vicki Hartzler, a Republican from Missouri.

White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said Joe Biden “recognizes his incredible work” and the US president had already planned to welcome Jackie Walorski’s family to the White House for Friday’s signing.

“He was in people’s spirits,” Jean-Pierre said.
