WWE Raw winners and scores

Brock Lesnar destroys Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes received a LA jockey-like reaction in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.

Brock Lesnar’s music hit just as Corey Graves was about to name-drop Sister Teal Rhodes, and the guy didn’t even show up.

After his music hit a second time, Brock Lesnar finally showed up when he attacked Rhodes offstage and sent him flying through a doorway.

Brock Lesnar received massive heat after defeating Rhodes in Atlanta. The moment WWE showed the Rhodes family sitting ringside, you knew it wasn’t going to go well for him.

The opening pitch of the piece: b

Gunther Dave. Matt Riddle

Matt Riddle and GUNTHER had the match they should have had on the pay-per-view earlier this month at Money in the Bank.

GUNTHER was loudly booed as a heel, and cut into a heated promo while standing on the announcing table calling out to Drew McIntyre.

As Roman Reigns has taught us, long reigns are overrated, but Gunther has called himself the greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time. In addition to his long reign, GUNTHER has never been placed or made into the main roster, and when that happens and the title changes, he’ll raise the belt. GUNTHER might have a point.

Drew McIntyre is a SmackDown man. Should McIntyre win, is it made clear if the Intercontinental Title goes to SmackDown or if Drew goes to Raw?

GUNTHER vs. Riddle Grade: B+

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens Challenge Day

Backstage, Raquel Rodriguez (kayfabe) injured her leg during a fight with Raquel Rodriguez.)

Dominic Mysterio is getting a lot of action these days, and the rest of Doomsday should take turns cutting promos for him.

Finn Balor tells Damian Priest that he loves him as the temporary honeymoon period of the Bloodline continues.

Sami Zayn received another massive backlash, but fans also got excited when Kevin Owens took the liberty of cutting a promo at Judgment Day.

Zane Owens and Doomsday Class: B-

Deville and Green Dave. Morgan and Rodriguez

If Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan drop these women’s tag team titles, the belts will officially become a parody if they haven’t already.

With WWE building towards Raquel Rodriguez and Rhea Ripley, poor Liv Morgan might just be the single woman out, win or lose.

To credit Rodriguez’s knee injury, fans stood behind Rodriguez when she boxed in a Devil’s Half Crab.

Even though Chelsea Green has a great personality, women can get their ass bumped.

Sonya Deville broke up a near miss with a great looking flying knee to Liv Morgan.

Division Women’s Tag Title Match: B

Viking Raiders Def. Alpha Academy

There was a very serious sit-down segment between Seth Rollins and Finn Balor that I seriously couldn’t take because Rollins was wearing sunglasses and a mesh T-shirt. In fact, the seriousness made it sound even more ridiculous.

Titus O’Neil was on commentary for this due to this experience in Viking Rules matches. It was more encouraging, but boy was it entertaining.

This pageant was amazing, with Vikings Shields and flags around the ring.

Fans were in for this game, especially when Maxxine Dupri donned her letterman jacket. It was immediately put through a table by Valhalla and it was all downhill from there.

Viking Rules Matching Grade: B+

Shaina Basler Dave. Nikki Cross

Chyna Baszler, who turned back into a heel, quickly worked on Nikki Cross. The fans didn’t react, and right away, Ronda Rousey kicked off her promo by saying, “And the crowd moderates!”

Rousey (accurately) called out Shayna for being the reason Baszler was in WWE, and beat Baszler in half time.

Fans cheered Rousey when she called herself the greatest female combat athlete of all time, but cheered even louder for Baszler when Baszler said she was the better Ronda Rousey in WWE than Ronda ever would be. Now I can’t tell who’s heel.

Grade: C+

MizTV with Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus

Becky Lynch started at 11 in this promotion, out of 10, and eventually made it almost to 20.

Becky Lynch, who looks like she’s wearing her pajamas to the ring, just dropped a racy promo on Trish Stratus in light of allegations that the man was in the doldrums.

Trish Stratus will accept a match against Becky Lynch

  • Becky faces Zoe Stark
  • If Becky loses to Zoe Stark, Bex has to get on her knees and say “Thank you Trish”
  • Becky Lynch will also have to tattoo “Thank You Trish” on her chest if Becky loses

Becky removes Trish Stratus’ mask by the end of this segment.

Becky Tresh Grade: B-

Bronson Red Dave. DQ’s Shinsuke Nakamura

Kevin Patrick and WWE are really trying to get “Braggadocious Bully” to describe Bronson Reed. I hate that. I prefer Mr. Nice Guy.

Shinsuke Nakamura lost by DQ when Tommaso Ciampa trashed the match and attacked Bronson Reed. Understandably, Nakamura kicked Ciampa in the chest and was booed. So let me get it straight, Ciampa costs Nakamura a match, Nakamura takes matters into his own hands and Shinsuke is the heel?

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Bronson Reed Class: B-

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn Def. Doomsday

Doomsday’s tag team was Dominic Mysterio and Damien Priest, who wore a bra-like tank top.

This match was dominated by chants of “Dum, you suck!”

At one point, Kevin Patrick inexplicably said “Kevin Owens: Never worry” and of course Corey Graves jumped down his throat like it was a waterslide.

This crowd was awesome all night, and the main event was no different as they chanted “This is awesome” during the final moments.

Liv Morgan broke up the match and attacked Rhea Ripley, distracting Mysterio, who was knocked out.
