Alexander Dugin expressed his anger at Russia’s withdrawal from Kherson in Ukraine. Dukin became the first prominent Russian to break his silence amid growing resentment over the failed invasion of Ukraine, the British tabloid writes.

But worryingly, the 60-year-old fascist ideologue is believed to be part of a growing group of Moscow elites who are calling on Putin to escalate the war in Ukraine and see Kherson as a major blow to Russian pride.

Mirror.co.uk writes that shortly after he posted his comment on Telegram, his anti-Putin message was deleted because Gerson was angry at the withdrawal and feared many Russians had been killed there.

“The tsar in the story was killed when the rains failed to fall during a drought and his stomach burst,” wrote Dukin in a comment to Vladimir Putin.

Speaking about the situation in Ukraine, Dugin wrote that every “true Russian” should now be saddened and “grind his teeth in pain” because of the current situation.

He explained that Russia had “surrendered Kherson” and that if the public was not upset by the situation in Kherson, “they are not Russians”.
