The 24-year-old was released from Buffalo General Medical Center on Wednesday after spending more than a week in the hospital after suffering cardiac arrest on the field during a road game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Jan. 2.

Hamlin was initially hospitalized in Cincinnati but was transferred to the Buffalo facility on Monday after doctors determined his critical condition had improved enough to transfer.

The Bills are set to play the Miami Dolphins in the NFL Wild Card Round on Sunday.
