UPDATE 19:30 At least five people were killed and 18 wounded in Russian attacks on railway installations in the Vinita region of western central Ukraine on Monday, the local prosecutor’s office said, AFP and Reuters reported.
“As a result of the enemy bombing, five people were killed and 18 wounded,” the local prosecutor’s office said in a statement.
Vinita is an important railway junction, for contacts within Ukraine and abroad. According to Agerpres, most international trains pass through this area.

Five stations in central and western Ukraine were attacked and set on fire on Monday, causing an unknown number of casualties, Ukrainian television reported, citing the National Railway. Reuters.
Alexander Kamisin, chairman of the National Railways, said the attacks took place within an hour.
More than 16 trains were delayed due to the attacks, he said, adding that he would return with the details of the commissary.
