No one was found after Sacramento police searched a McDonald’s for a possible armed suspect.

The Sacramento Police Department said no one was found after officers searched the McDonald’s restaurant looking for an armed suspect. At about 6:30 p.m. on Friday, police said they were attempting to arrest an individual barricaded inside the McDonald’s restaurant located at 4731 Mack’s Road and that the premises had been evacuated. Mack Road was temporarily closed near McDonald’s, but a LiveCopter 3 was flying over the scene at Valley Mack Plaza as the road began to open up again, and it is not yet known what led police to believe there was an armed person inside the restaurant.
